Rhiannon's DJing style is high-energy, interactive, and fun. She plays exciting sets that inspire people to be in the moment, dance, and forget the rest. Rhiannon is a house music lover. As a versatile artist, however, she can produce, play, and perform everything from house (bass, future, electro, deep, and tech) to trap, moombahton, hip hop, and mash-up. Such versatility in both style and skill has made Rhiannon a popular DJ amongst a wide variety of party-goers. She can please everyone from top 40 crowds to raging EDM fans to picky underground house heads. Rhiannon knows what people want on the dance floor and she delivers it with compassion. Her goal is to bring this dynamic level of talent, positivity, and personality to the music industry worldwide.
Since Rhiannon spent the first eight years of her DJ career playing on vinyl and turntables, her ears are well-trained. She mastered Serato on the side but prefers to show off her live mixing skills by using minimal technology - just a USB flash drive and a couple of CDJs (no sync or laptop required). A true professional and crowd-pleaser, Rhiannon never pre-plans her sets or plays the same set twice. She treats each show like a unique experience and taps into the style and mood of each audience that she performs for. Rhiannon selects tracks on-the-fly, mixes seamlessly, and speaks live on the mic to connect with people. Her infectious energy casts a spell on the room, drawing ears, eyes, and hearts to the stage for an unforgettable experience.
Repeat business is Rhiannon's specialty; once a venue experiences her live show, they always invite her back. Beyond her global DJ residencies and extensive touring within the USA, she boasts repeat shows at the following nightclubs: Palazzo and Blue Parrot in Playa del Carmen, Xtine and Strana in Puerto Vallarta, Lobby and Cintermex in Monterrey, Club Muzique in Montreal, Uniun, Cube, Aria, and Gravity in Toronto, Union Hall and Knoxville's (now Anthem) in Edmonton, Gossip, The Red Room, and Bar None in Vancouver, and Allure on George in St. John's, along with many others. Rhiannon has also DJ'd in England, Australia, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Indonesia, Jamaica, Tahiti, and Hawaii.
Besides being a badass artist, DJ, and producer, Rhiannon is also a voiceover actor at Dean Panaro Talent. In her first year back in the VO game since 2009 she booked spots with several high profile brands including Apple Podcasts, NerdWallet, and McDonald's. Rhiannon is a scholarship and award-winning Academic with a Double Major Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of British Columbia. She is a member of The Golden Key International Honour Society which means she came in at the top of her graduating class. She is a citizen of Canada and the UK and resides as a legal permanent resident in the United States of America. She is bilingual by education, fluent in English and Spanish - with some French on the side. Rhiannon appeared in the hit TV series Smallville and has been featured on VICE's music channel Noisey as well as Fashion TV, Juice TV, B-Real TV, Club District TV, and The Fab Femme. Rhiannon has been featured in numerous magazines including DJ Mag Canada, VanCity Buzz, and Playboy Magazine (Official Playmate & Covergirl). Rhiannon has been a published author since the young age of 7 when she won a contest for one of her original poems which was then published in a book. Growing up, she continued to be nominated and published in student journals, community newspapers, and other publications. After school, she studied performing arts including ballet, tap, jazz, musical theatre, modern stage, drama, and piano. Her love for soccer took over, however, and she became a competitive athlete until university. While she was in high school, Rhiannon taught herself how to DJ using Technics 1200 turntables, a Behringer mixer, and a stack of 12" house & breakbeat records that she started collecting in the year 2000 and still has in her collection at home today.
